Our Mission
Our number one goal is to improve success results for teens in foster care and close to aging out.
Unlike most teens, foster youth often don’t have the support or services they need to help lead them on the path to success. We believe that every young person deserves to know they matter and are worthy to celebrate every important milestone in their lives. We believe it's important to lend a helping hand so they can achieve a rewarding future.
23,000 children age-out of foster care in the United States every year.
After reaching the age of
18, 20% of the children who were in foster care will become instantly homeless.
Only 1 out of every 2 foster kids
who age out of the system will have some form of gainful employment by the age of 24.
There is less than a 3%
chance for children who have aged out of foster care to earn a college degree at any point in their life.
Mentoring
Foster youth need our guidance and support to create the life they want to live. We provide mentoring opportunities where you can get involved and be that consistent adult in their life that helps guide them
Education
Encouraging college/ trade school enrollment in order to promote discipline, literacy, employment advantages, and spiritual growth when transitioning into adult life.
Life Skills
Teaching life development skills such as relationship building, money management, and nutritional training in order to promote positive relationships, financial success, and physical well-being.
